We understand the overwhelm that can go into booking and planning your newborn or family photography photoshoot in Brooklyn. That's why we've compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions to help guide you in choosing the right photographer or alleviate some of the questions you may have when planning your photography experience.

Have a question that is not covered below? Please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always happy to help!

01.

What do I wear to my photography session?

It is important that you and your family shine through in your photos. That is why we suggest solid, neutral-colored clothing that does not distract from your beautiful faces. Your clothing does not need to match, but it should coordinate. During the consultation phase of your photography experience, I am happy to discuss clothing options and provide detailed guidance.

02.

What is the best age to photograph babies?

It is suggested that newborn photography sessions take place in the first 7 - 14-days of arrival, as babies are still sleepy and can be easily posed. We understand that sometimes this timeframe is not possible, and are happy to photograph babies of all ages.

03.

What do I need to bring to my Brooklyn, NY photography session?

For newborn sessions, all you need to bring is baby, bottles, pacifiers, and Pampers! We have curated a wardrobe, wrap, and prop selection that can be customized to your styling preferences.

For milestone and family sessions, please bring any outfit changes or accessories you would like to incorporate into your session. A hair brush, comb, or hairspray is always suggested!

04.

Can I reschedule if my baby is ill?

Absolutely!

05.

When and how do I choose my photos?

After your session, we will schedule a date where you will come to the studio for your viewing and ordering appointment. At this time, you will also see all of the different wall art and album options.

06.

Do you send a link so I can review at home?

At this stage in your photography experience, images are raw and unedited.  As such, they are not released or transferred digitally as it does not reflect the final product.

07.

Do you offer payment plans?

I do. A minimum payment is required to confirm the order. Once your final payment is made, you will receive your images and products.

08.

What are your hours of operation?

Our standard hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. For outdoor sessions, they are ideally shot at Golden Hour. Golden Hour and Sunday sessions are available for a $75 surcharge.
